Simple things...

I'm late, late for this post - I said I'd post this yesterday but I didn't reckon with 'Fridays' and all that Friday sometimes brings with it. So my apologies to Christina of the beautiful Soul Aperture and her celebration of the simple, everyday things in our lives.

Sunshine on my face ~ my dogs ~ the scent of honeysuckle in the early morning light ~ you ~ a clutch of newly laid eggs ~ a rose ~ the warmth of your hand in mine ~ the grasses waving in the gentle breeze ~ the waves lapping on the beach

I wish you a peaceful weekend in the company of all you love. Vxx

  8. Veronica, what a fantastic idea for a post, just all the simple lovely things in your daily life. I might have to steal that idea, it is just too good to let go of!! I like what you had on your list, many of them could have been written by me. I also thoroughly enjoyed your previous post with the fantastic pictures of your roses, the close ups were just too lovely for words!! I am usually partial to anything pink, but I really like that first close up of the pale yellow/white one!! Very nice photography there. And the new hens, another delightful little group of "ladies!" who are lucky that you are so big-hearted and they now have a nice new home. I will have to go tell my daughter right away. She loves hearing about the hens that you rescue. Our hens and one rooster are doing good, enjoying the warmer weather and the chance to be out in the yard most of the day. We have had a lot of rain here this week in Germany too, so I can sympathize with you. I am sooo craving some sunshine and warmth!! thinking of you, XXOX Debby
